Do you want to have a great time listening to bubbly pop music with your child without having to worry about unsuitable song lyrics and themes? Well, then it's time for a Pizza Party!, the fun and fabulous CD from Laughing Pizza.
Laughing Pizza is a modern-day Partridge family (although they are a real family, not just made up for television). Dad Billy, mom Lisa and daughter Emily are a supreme combination, making music that is full of merriment and glee. Their songs are fun to sing, fun for dancing and fun to hear again and again.
Most of Pizza Party!'s all-original songs are exuberant pop tunes reminiscent of the 80's Tiffany or Debbie Gibson. My family's favorite is the first song, "Back to School," which shares a young girl's joy and anticipation at the end of summer. Another standout is "Just a Minute, Maurice," a light hip-hop/rap tune that features a boy lamenting his father's tendency to lose track of time in the hardware store.
